The GBAA and IDRF in dialog with the Federal Ministry for Data and Transport (BMDV)

October 9, 2024 As part of the BMDV’s initiative to strengthen Germany as an aviation location, the GBAA e.V. is strengthening the dialogue on the competitiveness of aviation and focusing on reducing the government cost burden. Specifically, it is calling for a reduction in government levies and charges in order to secure the future of business aviation. The GBAA and IDRF have identified nine key issues that are decisive for the competitiveness and future of Germany as an aviation location. In an intensive dialogue, concrete proposals for action were developed to tackle the existing challenges and strengthen Germany’s position in international aviation.
