Who we are
The German Business Aviation Association e. V. (GBAA) represents the interests of Business Aviation in Germany.
GBAA has more than 80 members from the entire industry and represents a fleet of more than 130 aircraft. The mission of GBAA is to represent and promote the interests of Business Aviation in Germany and Europe. GBAA maintains close contact with all relevant national and international authorities and institutions.
The GBAA deals with issues such as the Single European Sky, emission trading, the European Aviation Safety Agency's (EASA) legislative proposals, including fees and charges, as well as security issues and access to airports and airspace.
GBAA is a member of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) based in Brussels and the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) based in Montreal. Thus, the interests of GBAA members are represented in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The GBAA was formed in 1985 from the Business Aviation Working Group of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) in Cologne. GBAA is a registered association and has its headquarters in Berlin.
